Overview

Virginia Eye Institute is the largest private ophthalmology practice in Virginia. So naturally, they needed to expand. My team and I worked to build and launch a website for their new aesthetics branch. I handled all of the web copy on the site, built and wrote a brand cohesive blog, and performed search engine optimization duties while my much smarter coworkers built out the back end. You can visit the live site here: https://www.veiaesthetics.com/

Search engine optimization

Through extensive keyword research and competitor SERP analysis, I formulated a SEO strategy. I denoted the focus keyword of the entire site to be “eyelid surgery” because it averages 27,100 searches a month on Google. Although the keyword seemed like a long shot during my initial research, in depth analysis and site audits of top ranking competitors led me to conclude that we could reach the first page of Google in a relatively short period of time. While the whole site was built around that keyword, I established a page that would serve as the ideal landing page for the query.

After establishing this page, and the rest of the website as an authority on the subject of eyelid surgery, the numbers show that the strategy has paid off.

BLog

Besides maintaining SEO for the site, I create content for the blog. Click on the links below if you’d like to view examples.
